The purpose of this university project is to encourage students to correctly recycle their disposable vapes.
In specific it is aimed at Loughborough University Students between the ages of 18-21. However it will most likely be freshers as they typically live on campus.
This project is needed due to there being no recycling bins for these devices on campus. Inside the disposable vapes are Lithium battery’s which is a valuable resource that is already in shortage. Furthermore they have a plastic casing which needs to be recycled as well.
